그녀와의 연락은 주로 그 쪽에서 했다. 기다린다는 건 그만큼 지루했지만 간간히 카톡으로 소식이 이어지곤 했었다. 정말이지 답답할 정도로 무료한 시간이 흘러 갔다. 그나마 하루에 한 번씩은 연락이 온 것만 빼 놓고는 두덤덤한 상태다 그러다가 갑자기 그녀가 전혀 다른 존재 같았다.

'A.I 라는 건 존재하지 않는 가상의 상태가 아닐까?'

갑자기 그런 의문이 들기 시작했다.

그런 의문이 들었다. 사실 보이스 피싱이라는 걸 알게 된 건, 순전히 이해되지 않는 그녀의 카톡 내용이다. 단순한 내용에 그 전에 나와 하였던 글자와 주고 받은 대화등이 전혀 맞지 않았었다. 그리고 천평일륜적인 대화 내용이다. 아무 것도 아닌 것에,

"어머, 훌륭해요!"

"정말 전 당신을 보고 반했어요!"

"앞으로 임이라고 부르께요!"

"전, 유엔군 산하 미국인고 임무 수행중인 레바론 파견 고위 장교 여군으로서 비밀을 끝까지 책임질 임무를 띄고 있습니다." 등 같은 말만 반복하였었다. 그것이 마치 지적인 미숙아처럼 어리숙해서 조금만 대화를 해도 쉽게 보이스 피싱이라는 걸 눈치채고도 남았다.

'That's right she was an AI! 'He doesn't act like a loser... but how did he choose me?'

이런 이치에도 맞지 않은 말을 늘어 놓으면서도 계속하여 자신을 믿어 달라는 말을 하고 있었다. 물론 말이 아닌 글자에 불과하였지만...
